Back Packing for France

When packing I will use a 26 inch suitcase to put all of my clothes in.  I would not use a bigger size unless necessary because any size bigger would weigh more than ten pounds which is going to cost me an additional fee. Packing can be one of the very annoying parts of vacationing, especially with all of these airlines having all of these rules to pack. Along with my suitcase I would bring a carry on bag, probably my backpack , and in there it would contain

– Lotion

-Chap stick

-Deodorant

-Toothbrush

-Travel sized toothpaste

-Wash cloth

-Hair brush

I would want to feel as clean as possible at the end of the flight, so I would put deodorant on here and there and brush my teeth. Other things I would bring on the flight is:

– Snacks

-Water bottle

The major key to packing good is to not pack last minute and also to remember you will be able to carry on a carry on. I would pack the following things in my suitcase:

-Jacket

-20 shirts/tops

-6 Pairs of shorts

-12 pairs of socks

-24 pair of underwear

-Swimming Trunks

-Sweater

-Rain Coat

-Coat

-10 pairs of pants

-Durag

-gloves / mittens

-Sun hat

-Regular hat

-Dress shoes

-Walking shoes

-Slides

-4 belts

-toothbrush, mouth wash, floss

-shampoo, bar soap & container

Packing For FRANCE!

 

I’ve decided to travel to a couple places such as are France, Spain, Morocco, and Sierra Leone . First I would spend a one week span France and of course see the Eiffel tower first on my list of the many tourist attractions and many of the tourist attractions France has to  offer. Next in  France I would visit the famous landmark Disneyland Paris and enjoy all of the attractions the park has to offer.  Finally I would go see The French Rivera & its beautiful waters. France is a place that always fascinated me seemed to have many key places that are just beautiful to see. After I’m finish seeing everything in France I will then go to Spain and spend half a week there. While I am there I would go to the Museo Nacional Del Prado and look at all of the fine art that Spain has to offer, as well as the Costa del Sol, and finally go see the beautiful park that is Buen Retiro Park & its many attractions that are available at the park. After spending half of the week in Spain, I’m going to spend the other half of the week in Morocco. While in Morocco I’m going to visit Casablanca Twin Center and enjoy the shopping and things that Morocco has to offer. Then I’m going to visit Agdal Gardens and enjoy the scenery.  The last place I’m going to visit is Sierra Leone for, which was a place that I have always wanted to visit since I was a kid. My grandparents and parents are from there and they say it is absolutely beautiful and like nothing ever experienced before. I would first travel to the town of Lunsar and visit my grandmother, my aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews that I never got to meet. Then I would go to the Banana Island because my parents say it was their favorite place to go when they we’re children. Next I would go to the local market and see what type of delicacy that Sierra Leone has to offer. Finally I would go to Outamba-Kilimi National Park and enjoy the scenery and learn about the wildlife.

Thanksgiving Mess

Every year for thanksgiving my family always goes through the same problem & the same question is asked every year,

“Where are we having Thanksgiving?”

You would think for years of constantly not knowing where Thanksgiving is going to be we would finally have a set place that we’ll have thanksgiving every year. But no we always have to consider which house is more convenient. Once location is done the  next issue is food, and who’s going to make what. And THAT is always the biggest issue because everyone wants to make the same dishes. Then somehow that always comes back to the kids, because they always ask the kids “whose dish is better?” to determine who’s making what.

This year I’m preparing for the Thanksgiving season, hoping things will go somewhat smoother which it most likely won’t. Pray for me.

Dear Iranian Authorities,

After I had read this story about Saman Naseem, I was in complete and udder shock. The torturing of a 17 year old to confess to a crime that he did not commit and sentence him to death as well is completely mind boggling to me. From my understanding the court did not thoroughly look through Samans case, they just took Samans forced “confession” and used it against him and refused to believe anything he said nor did the court investigate his case, which I believe was completely ridiculous by Iranian authorities.

The worst of this trial is 17 year old Saman Naseem is being sentenced to death when Iran has signed up for an International ban on executing minors & is being charged for “enmity of god” and “corruption on earth” which in no way would stand under international law. I believe that a minor sentenced to death with no formal evidence other than a forced “confession” is completely preposterous and that case should be open again and thoroughly looked through or if worst comes to worst Saman Naseem should not be executed for this due to the fact that he is a minor.

Dear Minister of Justice,

I am writing you to demand that you release Teodora del Carmen Vasquez, who was arrested for suspicion of aborting an unborn child. There is no hard nor is there enough evidence that the court could have fully said she aborted the child. Ms.Vasquez was found unconscious, bleeding profusely and was automatically assumed to have aborted the infant when there are numerous different things that may have happened. In Ms. Vasquez’s  case she had passed out from excessive pain.

I feel that Ms. Vasquez’s case had to have been extremely flawed & not thoroughly looked at by the court. Because of her poor background she was not able to get a lawyer that could of represented her correctly. Please open up Ms. Vasquez’s case & thoroughly look at the possible things that could have happened.

Banned Books: Of Mice & Men

The book “Of Mice & Men” was challenged by community members who believed the book was “a quality story nor a page turner”. They objected saying that the profanity in the book such as “goddammit” and “bastard”  and the time setting of the story during the Great Depression is too “dark” and “negative”. Things began to get so bad that someone said “It has been 10 long years that I have worked to get this district to be more accountable to parents with safeguards and standards, and now I would suggest that parents pull their children from [School District] 271, or better yet, never put them in.” Although the book was on a set course to be banned, John Steinbeck’s book Of Mice and Men was not banned 

Hurricane Joaquin Storms The East Coast.

Hurricane Joaquin has been making a name for itself blowing through the east coast. The hurricane is a powerful tropical cyclone that devastated several districts of the Bahamas and caused damage in the Turks and Caicos Islands, parts of the Greater Antilles, and Bermuda.The tenth named storm, third hurricane, and second major hurricane of the 2015 Atlantic hurricane season, Joaquin evolved from a non-tropical low to become a tropical depression on September 28, well southwest of Bermuda. Hurricane warnings were hoisted across most of the Bahamas as the hurricane threatened the country. Battering the nation’s southern islands for over two days, Joaquin caused extensive devastation, most notably on Acklins Crooked Island , Long Island, Rum Cay, and San Salvador Island. Severe storm surge inundated many communities, trapping hundreds of people in their homes; flooding persisted for days after the hurricane’s departure. Prolonged, intense winds brought down trees and powerlines, and unroofed homes throughout the affected region. As airstrips were submerged and heavily damaged, relief workers were limited in their ability to quickly help affected residents. Joaquin was one of the strongest storms on record to affect the nation. Offshore, the American cargo ship El Faro and her 33 crew members were lost to the hurricane.

Little Bondi Review

The short film “Little Bondi” is nothing less than a comedic masterpiece. The short film had me laughing from beginning to end. The Film stars two men dressed as women. One is a nanny named Crissy who is horrible at her job & jumps from job to job & the other is her stick through thick & thin friend named Linda . The movie starts with the two of them sitting at the pier after Crissy has found out that a boy she had had a one night stand with was at a coffee shop with another girl and she calls him ranting. From there she goes to meet the self centered women who hired her to find out that she has been fired. While the women is in the process of telling Crissy while she has been fired Crissy gets a text message from the boy she had swore she never wanted to talk to again to see if she wanted to have an affair, with no hesitation she steals her employers car to meet the boy just to punch him in the face. I feel that this film is is a must see & a sure laugh.
